Should I graduate late and study abroad?

I was on medical leave last semester...(because of a brain injury) but returned to my university a few weeks ago (for a summer class.) I was planning on going abroad next year (but that won't be happening)...I am now considering graduating a semester late (in order to study abroad.) I would spend that semester in Europe! I didn't use my education benefits last semester (I have the GI bill....(pays for college tuition.) I want to go to Physician's Assistant school. Should I try to use those benefits towards PA school or should I spend a semester in Europe?!?!
