How can I come out to my best friend/roommate?

I am a second year college student and will be moving back in to the campus dorms soon. I am rooming with my best friend whom I just met last year. I'm pretty sure he's bi, like me, and because he is my best friend I want to tell him. We have never come out to each other, it's just my intuition. I haven't come out to hardly anyone because this is such a big deal to me. Basically no one knows. The other part is that I have feelings for him, and I don't know how to go about asking him what his sexuality is and if he has feelings for me. He means so much to me and I'm so worried that going through with this would weird him out. I don't want to lose him as my best friend. Our friendship wouldn't be completely lost if he was weirded out by it, but their would be some awkwardness. But I really do think he is bi. Help?
