What is the pathway (order) of the production, transport and secretion of cellular protien?

The gene will be transcribed in the nucleus, undergo post transcriptional modifications, leave the nucleus to the rough endoplasmic reticulum where it will be translated into the amino acid sequence and eventual protein, the protein product will be processed in the SER and golgi, finally the protein will be packed into a vesicle and transported to the plasma membrane where it will fuse and empty its contents into the extracellular space.
