Saw ex today after two months of not speaking, both connected?

So my ex and I went out for about three months until I broke it off because of my uneasy feelings. As a result he unfriended me from Facebook and we did not speak for two months. Yesterday I just hung out with him and a few more friends and there was no awkwardness between us. Today we also hung out with a fewer group of friends, and we were alone for a lot of it. At the end we both kissed, and now I can feel my feelings coming back for him. Is this normal for ex's to feel this way? How should I deal with this? I told my friends a few months back I'd never take him back, but now I that I have feelings for him how will they take it?
