Does it have to taste so nasty?

As part of our sexual lifestyle (and I suppose that it is true with most couples) my husband and I enjoy oral play and where as he don't seem to have any objections to my secretions I can't say the same for what comes from him does his secretions have to taste so nasty or is there something that we can do?
