Could I get STDs or other diseases from using public laundry facility?

NO you would be very unlikely to get an std from a laundry facility, stds don't last for long periods of time when they are out side of the body. The washing cycle would have killed any sign of an std. Unless you had sex in the facility you're not likely to get an std from it.
