Avoiding me, busy, or scared?

On Saturday, I told a guy that I liked him. He asked me out, and I told him that I would, but we don't see eachother often. I want to see my boyfriend at least a little, you know? So. A little while after he said he had to tell me something but his phone was dying. He said he couldn't text me until Monday (today) and I said, "okay, dear. I miss you already<3" it's Monday. No message. No call. And I know he has his phone, and that it's fully charged because my brother is best friends with him and they've been texting. My brother said he's afraid of commitment. My mom said he's probably busy. But, I think he's avoiding the awkwardness of knowing that we like eachother but we aren't dating. And, I texted him.. Oh, about 7 hours ago... Because I know what time he wakes up to run. So, what do you people of Yahoo! think?
