Does my boyfriend have a right to be angry, please help!?

My bf and I have been together for almost 3 yrs, I play bollyeball for england but i'm the only female on the team. The giuys on the team sometimes get idk touchy? Like when we encourqage each other on and sometimes they get a tad flirty. The other day we had a tournament and my bf was there, and a guy from the opposing team slapped my **** :/ I didnt realy take it into account I just walked away but on the way home my bf was so annoyed. I asked him whats up and he said 'guys are all over, and your asking me whats up? Maybe you should keep your distance'. He was really angry and last night, I made dinner and it was like romantic just to ease the awkwardness between us and it was great until we kissed and he pulled away. He said he cant do this and went to bed. I ended up falling asleep on the sofa, what do I do? Does he have a right to be this angry?
